Saturday Madrassah

Saturday Madrassah  aims to educate Muslim girls and boys about Islam. This initiative to educate children about their culture and belief is very distinct and differs greatly from many of the commonly found traditional approaches. 

Saturday Madrassah teaches children about Islam so that they can grow up as confident Muslims, successful human beings and responsible citizens. Our madrassah has an emphasis on social learning and learning through play. It works in strong partnership with parents and mainstream schools.

The aim of Saturday Madrassah is to equip children aged 6½ to 15 years (both girls and boys) with essential knowledge and understanding of Islam so that they are able to make choices and lead an Islamic Way of Life.

The education provided aims to ensure that children grow up as confident Muslim individuals who are successful in this world and in the Hereafter; and are effective as responsible citizens in the community in which they live.
